@redturn2 is probably one of the most mentally toughest players I have ever seen play the game. This man is unquestionably the heart & soul of this team. The beauty of baseball is that you can go 0-5 with 4 punch outs, then hit the eventual go ahead homerun in front of a hostile crowd on the brink of a 2-0 deficit the very next day. From being non-tendered by the Mets, to being a minor league roster spot signing for the Dodgers. From being a platoon player, to an All-Star 3 baseman....To getting your wrist fractured in spring training, enduring the pain of that injury all season, then hitting one of the biggest homers in your career when your team needs you the most. I don’t think we will ever appreciate and know how much Justin Turner gives his heart and soul to the game, the franchise, the city and the fans. Tip of the cap to you JT.
