‼️SHERMAN PUPDATE‼️ Sherman has visited the surgeon twice since his surgery for checkups. All is going as hoped. He may likely need another surgery on his jaw - it is touch and go to see how it heals as he grows - and they feel he will need at least 1 more adult tooth pulled that was damaged from the injury to his face. His affected eyeball is visible in the broken socket but is pushed very far back and still not responding to any stimuli, so most likely will need to be removed in the future. Sherman will get refitted for a bigger support-muzzle soon, then a couple more weeks of wearing it for his jaw to heal before moving to more regular foods.
This little puppy is a trooper and considering all he has been through will still try to give kisses, play and wag his tail. We love Shermie and hope you can continue to help us support his care. This puppy is 100% so worth all of our efforts. Thank you to his loving foster mom who has been nothing but an angel to little Sherman and making sure he gets the huge arsenal of medications, cleanings and sleepless nights caring and helping him heal from his injuries. We are forever indebted to her unconditional love of Sherman, along with everyone else who has reached out across the world to help him. Special thanks to Special Needs Dobermans for all your support. Thank you to ALL of you who have supported, donated, prayed, and followed us on this journey! ♥️♥️
