On this constant path for having less stuff in our lives I have realised a few things 📷 Photos from Holidays are really all you need, more then any souvenirs or memorabilia.
🧸My kids have way to much & downsizing their stuff is not punishment it’s freeing for them, more time to be creative & use their own incredible imaginations 💕
💰Money saved for real experiences is more important then objects bought now, which are just collecting dust.
📖 Books are great but no point being on a shelf. From now on we have 5 at any given time & can exchange from library or buy cheap at op shop once they are read! 💛 It’s far nicer to have a few one of a kind pieces from the Op Shop then the same as everyone else, this is across the board for clothing, glassware, toys, books - nothing a good clean can’t fix & saving dollars & more importantly the environment!! 📖 Anyway time to do some reading “The Barefoot Investor - by Scott Page” recommended to me from my good friend who is great with cash but says definitely some great tips on weekly budget & apparently another book after which helps set your kids up I will let you know how I go if you haven’t already read it 😉
