Dolphin's nose point is a piece of rock jutting from Kodaikanal hills overlooking into the valleys of Nilgiris. What lies beneath is a scenery as enchanting as is enigmatic. The woodlands are so thick that the rays of sun never touch the roots of the trees here.
The dolphin's nose point is a short trek from Vattakanal(also known a little Israel, due the flocking Israeli tourists to the place) near Kodaikanal. It takes about an hour's trek on the hills to reach this place. Also not to be missed is the Altaf's cafe with its Israeli dishes near Vattakanal.
Continuing with the abstract shapes and spooky ambience of many a places in Kodaikanal, India, the beautiful hill station tends to get engulfed in sea of clouds making the landscape change colours and textures quite frequently. Love taking such abstract compositions.
