I hope to save a life! I donated my blood this morning. 🧛🏼♂️ this will my 4th time in the last 2 years. I must remember next time to not workout so hard as I did this morning and to eat a very good breakfast, not just a protein smoothie. After giving blood, I felt fine, but about 20mins later, I was hurting. Started hyperventilating, very faint and it wouldn’t go away. I ended up back in the bus laying down with my legs elevated. 30mins out, I felt a tad better. Not 100% but not faint. The @bloodservices team was Awesome!!! They were quick to help! Thank you!!! It was my dumb @$$ that should have known better! I will say, I’m still feeling terribly weak. I’m sure a good nights sleep should replenish all I exhausted from my body today. My body came to a crash as I typically do on end of day on Friday’s, ...but this time I pushed it a little too much, too soon starting with a very sweaty 1hr workout at 6am! Let me preach to myself, “Take it easy on your body because it will have no problems shutting down when enough is enough!” Have a great weekend!
