Entanglement Theory. Juniper are incredibly tough, tolerating drought conditions the other trees could not survive. They cannot survive submerging of their roots. Even the toughest among we humans have our fatal weakness.
Entanglement Theory. The water levels of Flathead Lake are regulated by dams. The tenacity of the juniper that allowed it to thrive in rock fissures was overwhelmed when the rocks were inundated.
The wood used in the construction of this mirror was responsibly collected from the North East cost of England whilst litter picking.
The wood has been backed on a secure base surrounding a lovely mirror. #mirrors#rustic#driftwood#etsy#etsyshop#etsyseller
Happy Friday! This is my one and only pallet wood project to date. Do you guys think pallet wood DIYs are still a thing or have they gone the way of pineapples and yellow oak?
I picked this this pallet up from a local lumber yard and innocently thought that I would be able to pry the boards apart by hand . It was my first experience with the scary skill saw (or circular saw). I had hitherto been intimidated by the beast. Lo and behold it was easy to use and I have gone on to weild it on many occasions since.
#trashydecorstar for this week has got to be a little boy who picked up a piece of wood, then carefully dried it after looking up a tutorial, then patiently painted it. He chose the colours on his own, and even added a peach gold tip.
I'm so thrilled with his design sensibilities and his eagerness to work with simple stuff and appreciate and find joy in nature. He even picked up Bougainvillea for my styling shot in a lite paper bag he created himself!
