Need to get out of a F U N K?
Use this acronym to break up stagnant energy!
Feel. Let yourself truly and consciously feel where these uncomfortable sensations / emotions / thoughts are rooted. This takes relaxing into the feelings and ‘hearing them out’.
Uplift. Do something for yourself that you know gives you a boost, such as taking a walk, talking to someone (anyone!), or riding a bike.
New Perspective. Explore alternate possibilities of how you can grow from this situation. There is ALWAYS a different way to look at things.
Kneel. Take a couple of minutes to meditate and reorientate the mind towards 3 things you are grateful for. This will literally change the neurochemistry of your brain and hear it towards positivity.

When @tina.fung.315 first started training with us she was very nervous about lifting weights. She feared she would get hurt, she feared she would get big and bulky, most importantly she didnt know where to start.
But we were quickly able to put her fears aside and showed her the benefits of lifting weights for overall fitness.
