I don’t believe in self-sabotage, not because it’s not real, but rather because I do not believe I sabotage myself when an aspect of myself desires something that I have neglected to address, time and time again. Binge eating? Maybe you need sweetness & tenderness in your life you do not have to purchase or consume to experience. Spending all night on social media? Maybe you desire social connection that you’re missing during the day time while you’re studying, working, and taking care of children. Constantly putting things on your credit card? Maybe you desire for someone else with disposable income (investor, azucar zaddy, etc) to be in your life so you can leverage other people’s money for what you need right now (this is what debt is, a middleman who leverages other people’s money for your benefit). Perhaps you desire to be a kept woman and do not want to work; so you use what income is available to you. Regardless, stop resisting what you desire and open up space in your daily life to address those needs. Otherwise, they will disrupt your ability to gain what you *consciously* desire. Remember, our unconscious drives rule our life. Understand it and become aware of yourself.
