Fall is a wonderful time to get those goals on track⤵️

🔥Have a Vision ~
🔥Write down your top 3 goals and post it somewhere that you will see each day ~
🔥Put that vision into action ~
🔥Follow the plan as best as you can knowing that life isn’t set in concrete ~
🔥During your journey keep a daily journal 📓 pointing out the top 3 things you are thankful for. This will keep you on a positive and daily routine of self improvement, keep you grounded and always moving in the forward direction.
~
🔥Alter plan where needed to fit your schedule, keeping original goals in mind ~
🔥Get in some intense workouts into your routine. You know how you feel after a good sweat session so go out and sweat ! Be grateful that you can move and workout, knowing that there are others that only dream to move freely ☝️
~
🔥Find a fitness family. Nothing feels better then going for a run, heading to the gym, or joining a local fitness group to help you reach your goals. Having a commitment with a community to support you and be there for you is also key in your journey. ~
🔥Repeat. This. Routine. Daily.
Having a daily routine sets your mind body and soul into a feeling of accomplishment. If you don’t set out some sort of routine for yourself, it is very easy to fall of the wagon and lose that vision. ~
🔥Always set new goals and aim to inspire. You never know who is watching your journey until you start telling other what you are up too. Aim to make a difference in this world and go out each day to inspire others so that you can grow.

Being a mom is tough. Heck some days it seems dang near impossible!!
I met Joe 9 years ago now and he was a single hard working dad of 3 young kids.
9 years ago after turning 30 and actually convinced myself I would die a single woman with a whole bunch of cats😹
Okay well I still have the cats, among other animals ...and am a very proud momma to now 5 amazing kids. They try me, test me and stress me out, but I love them to pieces !! They all give me the greatest job of being a mom to them and I am so grateful for them.
I am also the type of person that helps everyone, takes care of everyone else and usually burns out before I do something for myself.
In Order to be a healthy mom, you need to TAKE CARE OF YOU!!
I can't stress this enough to all you moms out there. You can't keep going each day trying to please everyone because every little thing that you do is exhausting, right???
Be gracious and humble and kind, but also take time to reflect and book YOU into your schedule!
So this is why I am on this journey of self help and actually FOLLOWING MY OWN ADVICE that I give to my clients every day!

It's all about decision.
Each day we have the choice in how we portray our attitude, direction of our thoughts and how we do things. Bad things happen to good people but all of this time I have realized it's about the attitude you carry when times are good or bad.

Definition of CONFIDENCE for English Language Learners: a feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something: a feeling or belief that someone or something is good or has the ability to succeed at something: the feeling of being certain that something will happen or that something is true.

Definition of DOUBT for English Language Learners. : to be uncertain about (something) : to believe that (something) may not be true or is unlikely. : to have no confidence in (someone or something)

Each day choose how your day will go, and each day realize that things may not be YOUR way and maybe that's okay.
Everything happens for a reason but you can control the attitude that you carry🙏🏻

I am a trainer. •
I have 15 plus years of certifications under my belt, as a certified trainer, various levels in coaching certifications, hundreds of online health coaching clients and experience in and out of the gym with clients with one on one. I love to teach weight training, sports conditioning and love to teach others about living a healthy lifestyle. I run my own fitness and health coaching business and love to keep woman motivated and always moving forward with their goals.

I am also a wife and mother of 5 children, and lead a very busy life helping my husband run the home front and our hobby farm on our 80 acre plot. •
But some days EVEN as an experienced trainer who has trained for novice woman’s figure competition, trained and disciplined for many professional photo shoots, and trained and ran over 10 half marathons and other various races?

I struggled with my workout today, both mentally and physically. My legs felt heavy, by coordination just didn’t want to jive and over all I just wasn’t in the mood.

I am only human. As busy moms doing it’s all I get it. I really really do. To carry the world on your shoulders each day is both mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting. •
Today I showed up to my class, severely un motivated, not having the energy to motivate others, and just wanting to crawl back into bed.

One by one, clients showed up, each giving me a reason to be there. First client even had me convinced she would just come back in the evening... until the next one showed up. •
Sometimes you need to literally step out of your comfort zone in order to do something uncomfortable.

Getting that workout in that I really didn’t want to do, turned out to be the best part of my day.

💁🏼‍♀️Fellow moms out there. You may be have one crappy week, month or even year. I know it’s been tough for me but I have said time and time again, that working out and running has saved me. It may not solve all your problems, it won’t cure your blues, BUT definitely will distract you for the hour and give you a whole whack of endorphins and give you that sense of accomplishment.

My 2 cents on how to stay happy and healthy on a long weekend: *
🇨🇦Drink plenty of Water to stay hydrated each day. Pack a 1 litre bottle in your beach bag and keep it filled up(minimum of 3 litres/day, depending on person, activities and how much you drink). Drinking tons of water will also help with the bloating that comes from drinking and snacking. *
🇨🇦Pack fresh fruits and vegetables on ziplock bags and prep your snacks. Don't focus on being so strict all weekend, rather eat smaller portions, fill up on veggies and keep hydrated. Ideas for campground snacks: rice cakes, homemade granola bars, whole wheat breads etc *
🇨🇦Grab a group of friends or kids or neighbors and go for a walk, run or complete workout below ! Get in 30 mins or activities each day to help that good foods and drinks digest and get the bloating down. *
🇨🇦Be sure to protect that skin with a good spf sunscreen of 45 or higher. I know we all make sure to lather our kids from head to to but don't forget our skin needs this protection too! The copper tone sunscreen spray cans work amazing and go on so easy! *
