I hate that word because this picture is exactly what some people see.

This was the peak of my fitness! Strong AF and still able to run 13 Minute 2 miles

Though with all the running during training I dropped 10 lbs and lost all my strength 😭

Getting back to peak fitness is going to be a long road but it will be fun. Doing this not to look good but to feel good inside and get back to that fitness lifestyle 🙌🏽

Comme c’est une huile bon marché et qu’elle résiste bien aux traitements de conditionnement des aliments, elle est très avantageuse pour l’industrie agro-alimentaire et donc fortement commercialisée ; même si ses effets sur la santé humaine sont discutés.
Les palmiers à huile sont essentiellement cultivés en Indonésie. Or c’est là que se trouvent les dernières populations d’orangs-outans. À Sumatra, la population d’orangs-outans est de 7000 individus, tandis qu’à Bornéo, les effectifs de l’autre espèce sont plus importants et se situent dans une fourchette de 45.000 à 70.000 individus.
L’ennui, c’est que les orangs-outans sont très dépendants de leur milieu. Ce sont les mammifères les plus arboricoles qui soient : ils vivent dans la forêt et y trouvent leur alimentation. Si l’espèce qui vit à Bornéo va parfois au sol, celle de Sumatra vit essentiellement dans les arbres, arbres qui sont abattus au profit des plantations de culture d’huile de palme. Ces abattages entraînent la destruction et la fragmentation de l’habitat des orangs-outans, qui se retrouvent prisonniers de reliquats de forêt.

Smoothies are a quick and easy breakfast option

Since it's easy to throw just about anything into a blender, it's hard to know how much energy a smoothie really contains.

Always think about the ingredients your adding, and consider whether you would be able to eat it all in one go if it wasn't blended down.

Liquids tend to digest faster so eating nuts, fruit and veg whole can be more satisfying.

The key to a nutritionally balanced smoothie/smoothie bowl is to be aware of your serving sizes and the number of ingredients you include.

✅Aim for 4-5 ingredients per smoothie

✅Start with a base, a milk or milk alternative (unsweetened almond milk, soy milk or unsweetened coconut milk like the one by @vitasoy_aus_nz ) is your best option. Always remember to pick a calcium fortified milk alternative!

✅ 1 serve of fresh or frozen fruit per smoothie

✅ Add a protein rich yoghurt or protein powder (Greek or Quark)

✅ Try adding vegetables such as spinach, kale, cucumber or celery to get those additional greens into your diet. I personally only like spinach!

✅ Limit the addition of high energy ingredients such as seeds, nuts and avocado to 1 serve! Yes they are all healthy options, but too much of a good thing is still too much!

✅You can always add rolled oats or @weetbixau for additional carbs and fibre

⚠️LIMIT adding additional carbohydrate sources through the addition of coconut water, fruit juice, maple syrup or honey (they provide little nutritionally) ⠀ ⠀

Salut ! Astăzi abordăm subiectul caloriilor lichide, deoarece am observat că a devenit un obicei de-al nostru să cumpărăm diverse tipuri de fresh, cu motivul că sunt „mai sănătoase” decât alte băuturi din comerț. Adevărul este însă altul – majoritatea acestor băuturi conțin peste 11-12 g de zahăr pe 100ml și sunt mult mai sărace în fibre și micronutrienți decât fructul întreg. .
Astfel, acestea produc o creștere rapidă a glicemiei și provoacă o înfometare mult mai rapidă decât o masă solidă, bogată în macro și micronutrienți. Ceea ce am postat în imaginea de mai sus servește doar ca simplu exemplu, există multe alte variante echilibrate care pot fi consumate în locul unui fresh.

După cum se observă, 500ml de fresh conține peste 58g de zahăr, echivalent a 14.5 lingurițe de zahăr!! Da, ați citit bine, 14.5!!. Ați consuma aproape 15 lingurițe de zahăr una după alta? Nici eu!
.
Dacă totuși vi se face poftă de o asemenea băutură, vă recomand să vă faceți un smoothie acasă, în propriul blender, folosind fructe mai puțin bogate în zaharuri precum afinele, căpșunile, coacăzele și pepenele. Spor la alegeri sănătoase!
