Spaghetti Squash Pad Thai, a low carb-high fat meal!

One of the worst food combinations for optimal digestion and fat storage is pairing lots of starchy carbs with lots of dietary fat. (The worst is simple sugar and fat).

The fat that is present inhibits the carbs from being converted into glucose (energy) and causes them to be more easily stored as fat. Essentially, desensitizing your body to insulin (check out my blog post on insulin sensitivity to learn more).

Unfortunately, so many delicious recipes call for carbs and fat... A great alternative to many pasta dishes with a creamy sauce is by using the low-carb spaghetti squash!

Pad Thai is one of my favorite creamy-sauce based recipes. I made the sauce by mixing together natural peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic and ginger. I also added in some extra veggies and precooked chicken for more protein. Unbelievably delicious, and you won’t miss the pasta!

You never see the hard work and the endless failed attempts that get put in to achieve those PB's on insta. This isnt heavy and a few months ago this would of flown overhead. However my training has been infrequent and for that my technique has suffered. It would be too easy to say im not good at it and jack it in. So here i am putting the hours in because i know eventually it always pays off.

MOBILITYYY!!!✨💫🤩 These are my three favorites.
1) worlds greatest stretch
2) thread the needle
3) squat sequence
Aside from these movements I always perform a warm up set when it comes to lifting weights. I’ll cut the weight in half and perform 1 set of 10 reps before actually starting my counted sets! How you do to warm up? I’d love to learn new ones! Let me know, Friends😋

Barres de flocons d'avoine au beurre de cacahuète et à la confiture
Ingrédients:
1 1/2 verre de flocons d'avoine
200g de beurre de cacahuète
1 verre de lait
1 œuf
Pépites de chocolat
Miel ou sirop de dattes
Cannelle
1 cuillère à café de levure chimique
Confiture au choix
Préparation
Dans un bol mélangez les ingrédients liquide
Dans un autre mélangez les ingrédients solide
Incorporez les et à la fin mettez la confiture et les pépites au dessus et au four pour 30 min ❤️

Mental träning och fysisk träning går hand i hand. Att göra något ”obekvämt” för att stretcha sin comfort zone är en sak jag försöker göra dagligen. Det behöver inte var stort, små saker räcker fint för att träna sin mentala kapacitet.
Idag lämnade jag min älskade Bobo med hundvakt i flera timmar för att enbart kunna fokusera på mig själv. Inte så stor sak för vissa men för mig som har en medberoende problematik i bagaget så är det jättejobbigt att inte lägga allt fokus på mitt hjärta. Förut skulle jag gråta och känna att det inte skulle gå - idag gick det superfint! Jag tänkte på henne men kunde slappna av och fokusera på det jag skulle göra. Träning ger resultat. Både fysiskt och psykiskt. ❤️
