Super Simple Salmon Cakes —- As a continuation of some easy and healthy #lchf meal ideas here’s another one of my go-to’s when I’m in a pinch... like today which didn’t leave much time for cooking after several hours of snow shovelling 🥶😭. It’s super simple with with only a few ingredients which we typically always have on hand.
Here’s what to do... —- Ingredients: ▪️canned wild salmon (1 can makes 2 cakes - I usually use 2-3 cans so there are a few extra cakes for lunch the next day). ▪️1 egg (use 2 eggs if your using more than 3 cans of tuna) ▪️flour to bind it all together (I actually use almond flour to keep it gluten free keep the carbs as low as possible, but any flour will do. Panko breadcrumbs also work well)

That’s all you need for the basic recipe, but you can add some onions, or scallions as well if your feeling ambitious. Mix it all together and form some small patties. Fry them in some ghee or your oil of choice. That’s it.
Serve it with your choice of vegetable, like some simple kale sautéed in olive oil as shown here.

Estaba por llegar la hora de merendar y no tenía nada, porque obviamente no había comprado nada en el súper ya que no podía decidirme entre sí llevar o no unas pepas.
Así que hice cuadra y media hasta un kiosco de barrio, para comprar algo rico, no sabía que quería. Llegué y ví una bandeja con 3 Pastafrolas individuales de membrillo. Me tentaron, las compré, $42, volví y merendé.
Sin rotular, cómo se debe, y muy feliz.

The scale does not tell you the composition of weight being lost. Remember, you could be building muscle while losing fat.

2. YOU ARE NOT MOVING ENOUGH. Exercise won’t be the way you lose fat but it’s still important to move. Whether that be a walk, gardening or lifting weights.

3. YOU ARE EATING TOO MUCH. Sure Keto is a new, liberating food philosophy to eat high amounts of fat. Fat has more calories per gram than any other nutrient though and in the fat loss game, a calorie is still a calorie, so don’t over do it and eat like Arnold!

This includes light from windows or electronics. So, consider getting black out shades or a comfy eye mask. Cover up any lights from electronics like a TV or clock, and get that cell phone out of the room.
