Masa kat matrik dulu suka beli ni dalam cup dekat Kafe A jual. Sekarang kat pasar malam ada jual. Tapi tulah, sukar nak cari peniaga yang telus dan ikhlas sekarang. Kebanyakannya yang dijual barang kitar semula. Hmm.
Anyone who thinks they don’t like Brussel sprouts, then you need to try them roasted. ⠀⠀
They are SERIOUSLY delicious! Toss with some bacon, olive oil, salt and pepper and roast for about 30mins.
Soooo good! .

Monday night dinner feat. a 2 minute throw together! ~
After a long day I can’t be bothered slaving over a stove so I keep it simple Monday to Friday! On Sunday’s I prep some meals. Yesterday I made a big batch of chicken patties with coriander, ginger and garlic to have through the week.
When dinner comes throw what you have in a bowl and you’re done! For me it’s tomato, broccoli, mixed lettuce and sauerkraut. Healthy doesn’t have to be hard & even Kingston likes the look of it! 🥦#eatmorevege#healthy#healthymeals#healthymadeeasy#naturalhealth#naturopath
Us Woods have this meal at least fortnightly. It is a highly nutritious plate of dinner goodness and relatively straight forward to make ~ BBQ salmon, sweet potato roasted in coconut oil, dark leafy greens, roast beetroot, roasted walnuts and goats cheese salad with balsamic vinegar and asparagus roasted with chilli flakes and macadamia oil (just 5-10min in oven - so still firm) I like horseradish cream on my salmon
Great mix of vege, healthy fats, protein and complex carbs for optimum health! And with this mix I always feel full and satisfied.
FYI : As long as the asparagus is not over cooked it is a fantastic prebiotic as is beetroot too. Prebiotic foods feed our probiotics (gut bacteria) and help them thrive and flourish. There is currently lots of new research/studies linking good gut health to enhanced mental health, increased immunity, and an efficient well functioning metabolism. Good gut health is correlated to easy unproblematic digestion, less processed food/sugar cravings and has influence over how many calories you absorb from the food you ingest - now that is cool )
Did you know that lean people have greater gut biodiversity than those that are overweight or obese. Increasing general fibre intake with many different types of fresh fruit and vege is KEY!
If you haven’t watched them already go check out the Gut Revolution Part 1 and Part 2 on “Catalyst” - ABC iview. So interesting! And while your at it give this meal a shot - your body and mind will thank you for it
When your local work lunch place is the @apothecary_kitchen Ben has an inspiring ethos around food and sustainable eating! His cooking classes are a must and he sells beautiful whole chickens and eggs direct from the farm. Ben's brown rice chicken paella is my absolute fav and the house made rye sourdough is too good even for me to refuse #apothecarykitchen#sustainableeating#eatmorevege
