I don’t know if it’s a pregnancy thing but I’m finding I just want to write about FOOD at the moment (while also eating it). Greg’s religion is football (Amen!) and he's also a big animal lover too with two dogs (Apollo & Hera), 2 cats (Frodo & Blackie) and a tank full of fish to take care of.

Had another go at the breakfast jar today, and though the choc shot blobs may have ruined the pic a little, they sure brought the flavour to another level I guess these could be called 'chocolatey chia overnight oats with hints of coconut and vanilla' anyway, had them with the usual suspects, aka berries and hazelnut butter and it was pretty nice

Gourmet Salad Meal Prep
Anyone else crave amazing salads from your favorite cafe or restaurant, but your wallet has other plans? (Like not paying $10-$15 for a bowl of vegetables) ♀️ I love to grab pre-packaged greens (my favorites are arugula and sweet baby greens ) from my local grocery store and just throw together a salad using whatever I have in my fridge and pantry. For this week’s meal prep, I used Organic Gala Apples (I squeeze lemon juice over the slices before adding them so that they don’t go brown), Gorgonzola crumbles , Red Onion, Craisins and Slivered Almonds I added some grilled chicken (I like to pack this separately to warm it up before adding it to the salad) and my 3-ingredient raspberry vinaigrette, which is just equal parts lemon juice, olive oil, and my favorite raspberry jam. Mix it all together and voila You have a delicious gourmet salad at half the price Enjoy!

Finally the time of year when I can leave work, bike home, go to the grocery store, make dinner, and then still have enough light to photograph my food! This is a tahini caesar salad which I’m thinking of shooting for the blog. Thoughts?
