You can trust me to give honest pizza reviews, I’m very crustworthy. 🍕

The hype for this place is REAL- luckily I went midday, midweek so there was no crowd and no wait. I would say it’s a middle brow pizza spot- def not fast casual but not quite fine dining.... they did have some fine looking waiters though 😍 but I digress. (Am I drooling from the food or the staff, you’ll never know...)
🍕Our spread consisted of 2 pizzas and the starter Burrata.
🍯Diavola- similar to the Bee Sting ya Roberta’s, it’s made with spicy salami and drizzled with honey. The flavors were there- the sweet heat, the dough crust that still retained an audible crunch. I didn’t particularly like the salami spread (think olive tapenade-like) that seemed to replace the tomatoes sauce-it was a bit too salty overall with all the other ingredients. Nevertheless, it’s a masterful pizza on every level.
🧂Cacio E Pepe- this one is mostly up to personal preference and I’m not a big cracked pepper person and this was heavy on the cracked pepper. It’s also loaded with cheese, and I loved the cheese. I guess the pepper could add a nice balance to the salty cheesiness, just personally isn’t my favorite. 🧀 The burrata appetizer with pesto is VERY good and the bread they serve it with us crunchy and flavorful without feeling hard and stale BUT it’s a normal sized portion (would have actually preferred more bread- yes DESPITE getting carby pizza, I wanted more bread) for $15. Considering that’s how much I pay for an actual pizza at one of my fave spots, seeing that price tag on a cheese starter is a little eye popping. 😳
