I know this might come as a shock to you, especially since I’m a fitness expert and all, but when talking about the most common regrets in life.... FITNESS is not one of them 😱 I know, I know.... how can this be!?

Let’s quickly talk about ONE reason you might not be losing fat even though you’ve tried EVERYTHING!!! Stress can have real physical effects on the body. Stress causes your cortisol levels to rise and stops your fat loss! This can turn your overeating into a habit. Because increased levels of cortisol can also cause higher insulin levels, your blood sugar drops and you crave sugary, fatty foods. You have to learn how to manage stress in order to get your health and wellness in order. We work more on this in my 1-1 coaching. It’s important to get to the root of the issue, not just mask it with pills and wraps... 😳🤦🏼‍♀️

Do you get Sunday Stress?”

I totally used to! Back when I was working too much, I was a slave to the gym, I was living off of protein shakes, chicken and broccoli during the week and Sunday was the ONLY I had to chill and have some chocolate... 🙌🏼⁣

No wonder I never wanted my Sunday to end!! The thought of beginning another week in this vicious cycle scared me. ⁣

Once I started living authentically, giving my time to what matters and surrounded myself with positive people - everything shifted. ⁣

I no longer dread the week ahead because I am truly happy. I focus my time and energy on things I love instead of wasting time doing things I hated. I cut back my gym time and my workout are shorter and more effective. I started focusing on nutrients AS WELL AS macros. I unfollowed and unfriended people who brought me down. ⁣

I’m finally making myself a priority✨ ⁣

My advice to you if you dread Mondays:⁣
💓make a list of the things that make you unhappy or you want to change, then slowly work away at these things each week until they’re GONE and check them off the list! ⁣
💓write down three things you’re grateful for each day (or say them out loud). A little gratitude can go a long way in changing your perspective.⁣ ⁣
💓schedule your workouts! Just 30 minutes of movement a few days a week will do wonders for your body, hormones, mind, and soul!⁣
💓practice discipline. Nothing will change if nothing changes. You can hope and dream and manifest all you want but YOU have to be willing to put in the work. Want to finally get in amazing shape and develop a healthier lifestyle for once and for all? Invest in a coach who is going to support you and give you those tools and actually listen to them!💁🏼‍♀️Want to quit your job and start your own biz? Invest in yourself and PUT IN THE work! ⁣

You are worth it. You deserve it! ⁣

I remember the days when eating this was ‘bad’ .... it isn’t “clean” .... I told myself I’d do more cardio later to “burn it off”. 🤦🏼‍♀️ And what makes me the most sad is that I thought this was how it should be! That this was the right way of thinking....

To top it off .... once I had a “bad food” I would binge for the rest of the day! Thinking “I’ll start over tomorrow”, “today is already ruined”. That all or nothing Mindset! It’s CRAP!
.
What it did was make me sad, continuously mad at myself for messing up and in a downward spiral!🙁
.
What changed?
💫I found positive women to lift me up
💫I realized that being perfect sucks
💫 I started doing workouts I loved
💫 I changed my mindset around food. It was easy and it wasn’t fast. But it was worth it.
.
Now I eat this as a treat from time to time because I want to, no good or bad connection, it’s just food.

✨write down goals of how you want to FEEL not LOOK
✨start with inner work, mindset

TIPS TO FEEL LIKE YOURSELF AGAIN AFTER A TON OF SUGAR🍫⁣

Did you go a little sugar crazy yesterday... (or already today)??🍭⁣

It’s Halloween. It happens. It’s going to happen again. And SURPRISE... that’s OK. I’ve been there too! ⁣

It doesn’t mean you were “bad”. It doesn’t mean you have to burn it off today. It doesn’t mean you can’t touch another carb until next week. ⁣
It means that today, you get back into your normal routine. You move on. No guilt. No shame. That will just add more stress to your beautiful bod and skyrocket your cortisol.😧⁣

💁🏼‍♀️However, if you’re physically feeling like crap from going a little overboard on the sweets yesterday, here are my bounce back tips:⁣

💦HYDRATE: up your water intake to for the next few days. Extra points if you add some apple cider vinegar and lemon. This will help to flush out your system! ⁣

🥦EAT TONS OF VEGGIES: load up on lots of fiber and greens to aid in elimination. I love brussels, spinach, flax, and chia!⁣

💊DIGESTIVE ENZYMES: these are super helpful if you find that you’re gassy or bloated. Take them with your meals and remember not to drink a lot of water with them, that will dilute the enzymes!⁣

🏋🏼‍♀️SWEAT: nooo I’m not telling you to burn it off BUT you can put all of that sugar to good use by lifting some heavy weights and just simply moving your body! It’ll make you feel amazing!! ———————————————⁣

After all the drinks I consumed last night...🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹.... this is pretty much my attitude! 😂💁🏼‍♀️ We had a last minute night out and stayed out LATE!🌘

A while back this would have been a terrible day of beating myself up! Frustrated for being tired and indulging... etc. 🙄

Today I’m thankful! I had a fun date night with my hubby, I had fun this morning being a #footballmom, I picked up my house, I had a healthy shake for breakfast.!!! In other words, I’m not beating myself up but instead counting my blessings!

I’ll go to bed early tonight to catch up on sleep and tomorrow will be SO productive!

Focus on the good instead of the bad! Focus on living life and not restricting! Rest when needed!
