Ya know, I whip out the camera, and this little doodlebrain INSISTS on being in the shot, only to turn around to lick his man parts as I’m taking the picture 🤦🏻♀️ No manners whatsoever!
Last night we had a scare with Mick—while I was out doing errands, he somehow got into Jimmy’s zipped backpack in the guest room and ate an entire mint eos lip balm as well as 2 chocolate protein bars. Luckily he threw allll of it up, unluckily it was all over our bed. So I slept here in the guest room last night. Jimmy took the quilt and comforter to the laundromat today, and I had to wash the sheets and duvet cover which looks very much untarnished by mass amounts of chocolate puke. I’m not kidding when I tell you I nearly shit myself seeing that he yacked up an entire half of a protein bar, completely whole, which definitely caused him to choke as it came back up, since last time he got into the trash he choked on a much smaller piece coming back up. I was so scared, but he was acting totally normal from the second I came home, barking at neighbors through the window and sitting as close to the fire as possible. Only this morning was his belly likely hurting, as he was groaning every few seconds while trying to sleep. Keeping a close eye on him for the next few days for signs of liver or kidney failure. And certainly not leaving any food items in open or closed bags alike. This dog continues to surprise us with his cunning nose and ability to sniff out things he’s never paid attention to in front of us.
Notice Jimmy’s new zen garden on the bedside table, his pride and joy, which is much easier to maintain and refresh than our actual garden ☺️ #showoffyourplanties
