Chobani Flip Carrot Cake Creation "Sweet carrot low-fat yogurt with cinnamon glazed cake pieces, walnuts, and creamy white chocolate chunks"
- Starting off with the yogurt, I don't think it's really carrot flavored. If anything, you could think of it as being candied carrot, but it has more of a tangy and slighty sweet citrus flavor. There were pineapple chunks in the yogurt as well as little orange chunks, but because there was a citrusy flavor to it, I'm not sure if they were carrots or oranges. I could taste a bit of ginger in the yogurt, but other than that, I couldn't detect any other spices that you would expect to taste in a carrot cake. The mix-ins went pretty well with the yogurt. The cinnamon glazed cake pieces were really good, but more along the lines of a cinnamon cookie because they were crunchy, not soft like a cake would be. They added a nice sweetness and a decent amount of cinnamon, which the yogurt really needed. The walnuts were just walnuts and there weren't that many of them. In fact, their flavor seemed to get lost among the other mix-ins. I did get maybe one or two that were big enough to add a bit of nuttiness though. As for the white chocolate chunks, they were really sweet and creamy, reminding me of a cream cheese frosting. Overall, the yogurt as a whole didn't really make me think of carrot cake, especially because it was lacking in spices. With that being said, I still kinda liked it. Bad emulation of carrot cake, but decent taste.
