BE COMFORTABLE! i was reminded today of how big of a wall i've let myself build throughout these years. i tell myself i am better than this, i am stronger than i think i am, & what i aspire to do, the goals i set for myself, is definitely possible to achieve. yet, i continue to doubt myself & i end up with unfinished projects & compare myself to people who don't have the same goals as me. i am taking this year to reevaluate not only my work & goals, but myself, especially, & the first thing on my list is being comfortable with my body. i see people at the gym training with just their sports bra & i say to myself that it's totally okay because they look great, however, it would not be okay if i did it because my body isn't there yet. how is my body supposed to look? when is it going to be okay for me to train with just a sports bra? the media makes it so easy for us to compare ourselves to others & let our insecurities grow instead of teaching us to love ourselves & encourage others that we are beautiful & good enough!
i'm going to #rollwithit & take the steps towards loving my rolls, the bumps, the scars, the stretch marks, the cellulites, the whole. i encourage you to do the same! i implore you to post a picture of your beautiful body! if you haven't heard it today, you are strong, smart, amazing & brave!
