I ACTUALLY DID IT... I ACTUALLY CONQUERED LE LOUVRE. (and did it having the best breakfast of my life from Angelina's... Go if you're ever in Paris.) it took 2 days, and while I was a little disappointed in myself for not accomplishing it in 1... I'm glad I went back, because I missed A LOT. For example: Napoleon III's apartments, the Medici Gallery, Liberty Leading the People, the Raft of the Medusa, all the French sculptures, etc. Though I technically saw *everything* I didn't really take it in, process, and absorb it all, so will I be back if I have the chance in the future? Yes, yes I will.
2 things I've learned the last week between Versailles and the Louvre: 1.) French royalty were hella extra with their decor. 2.) Not really something I've learned but: how unreasonable would it be to attempt a master's thesis of some sort regarding dogs in art? (Asking for a friend ) *if you do go to the Louvre, btw, look at the map ahead of time, know what's there, and MAKE A PLAN. You'll thank me later.
