Psalm 121:1-8 NIV
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
I didn’t know what was going to happen this week. I remember last Sunday worrying about what I was going to face the coming week. The difficult situations I was going to face. Granted, I did face some tough situations and I just had to take some time out this week to reflect on it all. But you know what? I got through it, with God. And one lesson I’ve learnt this week is we need to change how we pray sometimes. I realised that I had to switch up the perspective of my prayer - not making it only about me but about praying over my work environment, praying for the people I’m working with and praying for God’s presence.
So here lies the end of another week and I’ve made it! We have all made it. We see God was and is with us every step of the way.
