I am guilty as charged of procrastinating my dreams so many times that I should be ashamed. Since I am only human, I am so afraid of being judged if I fail, and I think that accounts for pretty much everybody.
My trick is to start really, really small. Like one post at the time on Instagram, one phone call a day to a potential customer. You know, just small baby steps. .
But the real power are in those baby steps. Because if you do them little by little, once a day. You will have small micro failings, and small failings are not that hard, big ones are.
But in order to succeed, unfortunately you have to learn to be rejected, there’s really no way around it. So start small, fail small, and get used to that. When fail small doesn’t feel scary anymore, you scale it up, just a little bit, until you get used to that next level as well.
Then the day comes when you gradually have scaled up your efforts, your failings, and suddenly a year passed and now you’re on the doorstep to the big leagues.
Just because you started really small but scaled up little by little.
And you were consistent as fuck, and you never gave in.
Bravery is something that is developed gradually, and bravery simply means that you are resistant to fail.
Keep in mind that people admire other people who dare to fail just a little bit more than they do.
