First time trying Orenchi down in Santa Clara. It's always been hard for me to make it out to the South Bay but I was glad to go!
The wait is super long if you're not in the first wave. Given the distance and the wait, you have to plan well to eat here. Foodwise, the standard Orenchi Ramen is the way to go, we also tried the special seasonal Ore no Tan-tan Men, but it was not our favorite because of numbing spice.
Gyu-Kaku for Japanese BBQ. I really like the grill design here, smokeless! They also have many different cuts and meat options. The flavor of Japanese BBQ is also slightly sweeter than KBBQ which is what I usually eat.
What's your favorite kind of BBQ?
