From Colombia to Holland! 🙋 I never would have imagined it, and for me, these dates are very inspiring, 💜 really every time I start a new piece I think about how beautiful life and these two countries have given me.
I would never have imagined that a trip from my now husband to Colombia would be our destination, 👨❤️💋👨 that's how for the first time I spent a Christmas in Holland 🎄 and I was so in love that now my home is here, with my beautiful family 👨👩👧👦 (a husband and two beautiful children).
I leave you some curious data that also surprised me from Holland:
💜 First of all the cold, I was born in Barranquilla, a Caribbean city where the temperature goes from 35 to 40 degrees and reach a country where the temperature has reached -6 degrees, ❄️ I felt in a freezer.
💜 Did you know that on December 5 the Dutch receive the gifts to dawn with them on December 6, 🎁 who brings the gifts is San Nicolas (Sinterklaas in Dutch),🎅 a man with a white beard with a red cape and cap, who is riding on a white horse, 🐎he arrives from Spain by steamboat and when he arrives in Holland he rides his white horse, here no reindeer.
Here there are pines in flowerpot, 🎄 they are not uprooted like in other countries.
There is something called the gourmet game, 🥘 which is a hot iron in the middle of the table where everyone prepares their own food.
What makes you more surprising about these previous points? To me, without a doubt, the cold and above all the people here, 💞 which is authentic, never ceases to surprise me.
What an emotion, it fails less for Christmas 🎄⛄🎇 and I continue to create for you with a lot of love and inspiration.
Tell me some curious data here below that they do in your country or if you have traveled, what different traditions to yours you found? 👇
