Let me break it down to you:
Coffee contains caffeine, tea contains theine and both are basically the same molecule as but there is a difference between the two as well !!
There are three factors you need to bare in mind 👉🏼 !!
1. Quantity of stimulant in a tea depends on what tea is it and how long you steep it, so I’ll leave that for now...
2. As for the absorption rate, molecules are much freer in the coffee grains and are not chemically bonded to any other substances where theine is. Body has to break these bonds to be able to absorb it and this is why it’s said coffee excites, tea stimulates- it takes longer 🤷🏼♀️...
3. The most important factor for myself and the reason why I drink coffee 99% of the time.
We’re all different and as much as I can consume espresso before going to bed, tea at that time will make me stop blinking, dilute my pupils and it will certainly keep me awake a lot more than a coffee. My body is simply a lot more sensitive to this form of caffeine.
