Our science club visionaries students have wonderfully performed activities under the guidance of the co-ordinator Mrs. Manisha Sharma on 14th November,2018.
1. Smart Energy System
The activity was performed by 2 students at ATL lab. For innovative science model competition the students selected the topic of smart energy system and a working model of solar cooler was prepared by them. The solar panel used in this cooler for generating power was attached to a battery which in turn runs the motor of the pump. The smartness of this model was that during winters and night time also the charged battery through the solar panel could be used for providing power to other electric appliances.
2. E-Waste Exhibition
The activity was performed by approximately 40 students at skater wing in order to create awareness of environmental hazards of electronic waste and to inculcate innovative thinking amongst students of VI-VIII by smart use of E-Waste. . The exhibition was all about How we can make several things from E-Waste. Some of the exhibits displayed were –Wall Hanging, Wall Clock, Air Blower/ Vacuum Cleaner, Game, Table Fan etc. Overall students had lot of fun in doing these creative E-Waste projects.
3. Third Eye For Visually Challenged People
The activity was performed by 2 students at ATL lab. In micro-controller sensors are programmed, sensors used are ultrasonic. When person approaches obstacles, beep sound & vibration produced in sensors worn by visually impaired person on his/her hands makes him/her aware about obstacle.
