Hamstrings - a lot of people mistakenly arch their back when stretching them out and forget to breathe properly.

You will make much more progress if you keep a straight back, relax, and cross your arms with hands touching elbows.

As with every stretch, breathe out when going down, find the biting point, and hold for five to ten seconds.

Consistently doing cardio, weight training, staying hydrated, eating pizza(and healthy food too lol), and fucking shit up from 2012-2018 is how I’ve gotten these results. Sports were never my thing growing up so it actually surprised me how much I fell in love with the gym and weight training. At first everything felt so uncomfortable, but like anything new it takes time and practice. Don’t give up on yourself babes 💗

Today, I feel good. Went in and killed a good upper body lift sesh (if you know me.. any upper body day is my FAVORITE). .

Yesterday was a rough one for me. I got almost zero sleep that night between a thunderstorm and both kids constantly waking up 😴 I was spacing out all day and yesterday was a leg training day. Every part of me DID NOT want to go to the gym and have any part of it. I wanted to curl up under a blanket, but being a mom of two.. that’s not possible anyways even if I stayed home. I dragged my butt to the gym and trained and did some cardio. Not going to lie.. it was a horrible lift. I dreaded each workout, and even skipped a few 🤷‍♀️ Anyways.. What I’m trying to get at is that you aren’t always motivated. Some people wonder how so many people or #fitspos are always motivated.. but truth is, they aren’t. No one can be every singe day. It’s a habit and you need to be dedicated. Push through. Even tho my workout wasn’t that great yesterday, I still went and still sweated. .

If you are feeling unmotivated, that’s ok. Don’t get discouraged. Try and get there anyways. You are worth it 💪🏼 .

New plans and new heights are all coming together and developing slowly and I’m honestly excited for the future. Stuck to my word of 2-3 YouTube videos a week, really been focusing on my diet ANNDDDDD best of all, strength has been going up. If you’ve been following my instagram stories, you can see I’m hitting new goals almost every week, which I’m really happy about.

You might be asking, how I’m able to hit new PR’s!? Well dirty birdies. I’m incorporating progressive overload back into my life 😍. In my Gaining phase, I’m taking on a butt ton of carbohydrates (my bodies main source of fuel) and with this comes weight and muscle gains. Translating this size into the gym with constantly upping the weight to see progress. Every 2 weeks, I’ve been tacking on 2.5lbs roughly to each side of the bar (depending on my lift). Yesterday I hit a PR of 250 x 1 on bench and next week I’m attempting 260. It all comes with time..

Remember patience is the name of the game. If you could go in every week and add weight to your lifts, then there would be guys 10 years into the game benching 2,000lbs. Keep in mind their is a limit. Be smart, and be patient with your lifts. All things will come with time. Just keep at it. -

Worked out today! Feeling great! I slipped up with my vegan diet this weekend and regretted my stomach felt like it was going to explode. I didn't eat meat but I did eat vegetarian. It's difficult eating around people that don't have the same diet as you, now that I'm back home I can easily eat vegan without even trying

Kakav blam... ne znam kako sam ovo sebi dozvolila...na stranu problem sa štitnom žlezdom i trudnoća, ovo se pre svega desilo jer sam se u tom periodu života zapustila i jer obožavam da jedem(i previše). I zato što na stres reagujem tako što se zatrpavam hranom. Neko gladuje, ja se prejedam. Čuveno emotivno prejedanje.
Zato je ova borba bila još teža, i samim tim ima još veće značenje, za mene. Tokom ovog procesa, bilo je padova i prejedanja u danima pms-a, ali veoma je bitno da se trgnete kada shvatite da ste sa cheat meal-a, završili na cheat day-u br. 6. 😨 Ne budite u fazonu da je sada sve gotovo, već se trgnite i vratite na pravi put. Važno je biti iskren prema sebi.
Npr. ja kad dva dana jedem testo i pijem kafu sa mlekom, nakupim toliko vode, da mi celo telo i glava oteknu, dakle ne odgovaraju mi ugljeni hidrati, laktoza, možda i gluten... Važno je da pronađete ono šta vama prija od ishrane i pomerite guzicu sa kauča. Mršavljenje bez treninga ostavlja mršav salast izgled, a to niko ne želi. I ja sama imam da skinem još masti, 6-9 kg bih želela, da mogu da dođu do izražaja mišići na kojima smo radile @milicas_fit i ja prethodnih meseci, bez nje ne bih ovo uspela. 🌸⭐️💪🏼

As a youth, I was consistently told I had a sprinters #body. Petit, bottom heavy, muscular - you know the shape 🍐 little comments like “damn, you’re strong for a girl” and “you’re like a lady hulk” haunted me. I always wanted a body that was long and #lean, the kind of body that was not mine regardless of how much I yearned for it. I tried forcing it, #fasting, #dieting, #exercising my life away. Nothing changed what I had; this petit, #muscular frame. It wasn’t until I started #yoga that I realized this frame of mine was a #blessing and not a burden. I was able to #move in ways that made me feel #strong instead of heavy, in control and aware of each #movement. Yoga helped me to accept my body for what it was instead of hate it for what it was not. Yoga helped me to love my power, especially for a girl 😉 #staystrong #omies .

It is always good to isolate muscles after a compound. A Triceps extension is a good add up to your training.
