It's not true when they say that time heals, it doesn't - it just makes us stronger, it helps us to get through hard times. It was the same with him. I think that when you lose a person, first you feel the pain, you think million reasons why it shouldn't have been him, then you feel numb - most of the time. Afterwards there is a phase where you try to come back to your everyday life and try to do things. And you'll ask what's in the end? In the end there's joy. Joy of being capable of knowing this person. Of watching him race, of watching him get those points, of enjoying life to the fullest, of loving what he does. In the end, you have beautiful memories to look back to and I swear that's the only things that count.
It's been 3 years that you're not with us, but I believe that you're in a better place, looking at us from above with legends of F1 surrounding you.
As long as we are alive, as long as we can tell stories about you to new generations, you'll be never forgotten.
We love you Jules. We really, really do. -F
