As freaking scared as i am posting these.... look at what 8 weeks of hard work & discipline can do!! 🙌🙌🤩🤩
Joining the F45 8 week challenge #24 was the best thing I have done for myself, my health & my wellbeing. It’s not just the physical transformation but the mental too. I feel SO much healthier, happier, stronger & more in control of my health. I’m breaking the cycle of binging & restricting and I couldn’t be prouder of myself. My relationship with food & exercise is improving.
Of course, there were times throughout the challenge where I indulged and treated myself, had a night out or a big lunch with friends but if I didn’t I would have gone absolutely insane - so maybe my physical results would have been greater if I stuck 100% to the meal plan, but my mental health wouldn’t be as great as it is right now. So here’s to improving every part of yourself - inside & out, physical & mental! Can’t wait to go enjoy some drinks with my friends tonight to celebrate 🎉🥂🧡
& MASSIVE CONGRATS to everyone else who is completing the challenge this weekend 😁 xxx

The one thing I used to really dread doing was cooking lunch and dinner. Avalee is a pretty plain eater and I wanted to try new things but there wasn’t really a point in cooking full meals just for myself. I came across @iamfit.cafe and their amazing meal prep and I’ve not looked back. Initially I started their meals for the F45 8 week challenge but that ends this week and I’ll be continuing on with their meals. The main reason is that they are fresh and completely ready to eat ,it’s a home cooked meal. I pick them up every Monday and Wednesday so they’re super fresh! And taste AMAZING! If you’re in Perth I highly recommend hitting them up, or feel free to dm me any questions! X

8 Weeks of solid training 💪🏻

Look, I’m not ecstatic about the results (😂🙊) But that’s life & that’s human nature, we all put way too much pressure on ourselves to see ridiculous results without being super strict & clean and then we wonder why . . . 🤔🤣😝
.
But hey, I’ve trained fucking hard, I’m feeling bloody fit and amazing atm, and I know I’m 200% fitter and stronger than I was 8 weeks ago and mentally, I’m fucking happy ❤️🙏🏻
I’ve also been pretty damn relaxed about what I’ve consumed, but I feel like that’s key, it has to be balanced otherwise it’s not maintainable. I’ve definitely made better & healthier choices, I’ve included more protein, fruit and veggies but I’ve also had my fair share of sneaky take away, sweet treats and red wine! 😉
Yes, again, we all know abs are made in the kitchen 😉
.
So here’s what I achieved in 7.5 weeks:
⬇️ 3% Body Fat
⬇️ 1.1 kg’s Body Fat Mass
⬇️ Visceral Fat Area score: 86 to 65 ⬇️ Visceral Fat Score down 2
⬇️ -5cm’s from my hips/arse ⬇️ -2cm’s from my waist
⬇️ -3cm’s from each thigh ⬆️ 1kg Muscle

So there it is! I’m definitely not where I want to be long term, but I’m also pretty happy with where I am currently and what I’m achieving. At the end of the day I’m in a bloody great routine, I’m having fun training, I’m looking after myself physically and mentally, I’m surrounded with like-minded pretty epic humans who motivate and drive me daily, I’m enjoying life, I’m so happy and not living to a strict routine and I’m still getting results!!!

Sore muscles after a workout? Make sure you stretch after your training to avoid a buildup of lactic acid!
If you forgot, though, and you're already aching, try these tips to soothe them:
💪submerge them in cool water
💪apply a heat pack a few hours after your workout
💪gently work them the following day

1. REST - rest is essential for muscle growth and repair. Allow for your muscles to recover, time helps to prevent any soft tissue injuries from occurring. 💤 ⠀

2. DIET AND TRAINING - Be mindful of your training and what you are consuming over the Christmas break. It’s always easy to fall off the bandwagon so let’s make sure we still moderate our diet and training. 🥦 ⠀

3. SET GOALS - Set some goals for the next challenge. Think SMART. Sustainable, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time based. ✅ ⠀
