Yoga Therapy is using the body, the breath & the mind to deepen the connection to your heart. Mental health, depression, disease, extreme stress, low self esteem, learning disorders, physical ailments, chronic pain, and isolation are all distractions from being our best selves. I was inspired by the integrated wellness therapists at Walter Reed Medical Center as I witnessed powerful transformations as vets with PTSD reported life changing benefits and shifts towards wellness and healing through yoga therapy.
What makes yoga therapy different from other types of therapy?
In psychology you work with the mind. In physical therapy you work with the body. In Yoga Therapy you work with both the mind and the body.

I have spent more than 1000 hours in training with @ebferdig & @yogirlmlk because I have seen transformation through yoga. My passion in life is healing, wellness and yoga. I am so excited to finally become certified in Integrated Movement Therapy and by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
