You guys, I honestly NEVER ever believed that home workouts would work. I have a degree in exercise science, I instructed fitness classes, I taught muscle anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, so basically I know everything .
I switched from gym workouts with a professional trainer to home workouts when I was pregnant, we needed to cut out our gym membership cost, and I knew I'd need another way to stay fit postpartum without leaving my newborn. So I hesitantly took the jump.
I'm still surprised at the difference! On the left (I was 26!) I was working out with a trainer, paying lots of money, spending lots of time, and wasn't satisfied with the results. My clothes didn't fit comfortably, I fought with my closet daily, but I still felt like I was doing the right thing by working out. .
On the right, (I'm 31!) I've been working out from home for 30 minutes a day! I am so much happier and more confident! I spend far less time and money. I honestly can't believe the change in me inside and out. .
So yes, I share my story because I truly believe and know how well this works. I've been consistent because I have an accountability group of encouraging women all checking in with me daily! I love it, and I hate the idea of women fighting with their closet and spiraling into negative self-talk. It's frustrating, I know. Our groups focus on loving the body you currently have, changing your mindset about your body and food, and exercising to honor your Creator for this once in a lifetime temple!
