Listen, this will offend some of you but you need to understand this. Being the best at your service doesn’t matter. It just doesn’t. Now I’m not saying you should suck at what you offer, I’m saying the belief that because you’re a better _______ (insert your service) means you’re going to grow the fastest is a complete myth. The truth is this, the companies that offer the best customer experience will grow the fastest and win. Disney does this best. You go there and feel like you’re in a fairytale. When your customers buy from you it should be no different. From the moment they get your marketing piece till the moment you collect the check, every part of the process has to be seamless and convenient. I’m telling you, when I learned this and applied it to my service company, we blew up.
