Just keep showing up, weekend or not. Holiday or not. Work travel or not. Don’t worry about “falling off the wagon” because that wagon doesn’t exist. And most of the time- if created because of fear. Fear of failing, not reaching goals, so don’t let it STOP and be ok with “oh I fell off”....just keep showing up. (Phew! How freeing is that!😉)

Yup this just happen to me. With getting sick and eating comfort food. I tasted some sugar and lost all self control. Now I'm trying to get back at it. Sometimes the cards your delt sucks 😒

The Sugar Dragon is back!

Whole 30 finished a few weeks ago and I have definitely not experienced any #foodfreedom . I have been eating Halloween candy, eating pizza and drinking beers instead. I also have been paying for it with aches and pains, headaches and fatigue.
.
The first time I had real processed sugar was Halloween. I had 4 tiny little chocolate bars and I felt HUNGOVER the next day. Not just like tired or headachey, I legitimately felt like I had drank margaritas till the sun come up the night before. Now a week later, I am finding myself digging into my girls candy a couple times a day!!
.
So I want to hear from all you whole 30 pros. Have you ever fallen off the wagon after the reintroduction period? What did you do to get back into it?!

Welp 😞 this sucks... Gained two weeks in a row. Down this past week, but this bring my 11 week average to only down 8.3 pounds.
If I could only stay on track and consistent with eating. I have been good NG to the gym 5x a week for three weeks straight, but obviously eating is so important.

Cheat meal?

Not really, I don't think of food that way anymore it's not a #prize or #penalty it's all about #choices.
Do I choose to satisfy the #palate at the expense of #achyjoints #bloating and poor #performance or choose to #nurish my body to #feelgood and #domore

And sometimes knowing how to undo poor eating choices can be the very reason for making the bad choice. It becomes false confidence that can quickly lead to #fallingoffthewagon
At least that's how I felt today as I went to work on this #🍕 like how many poor choices can I undo quickly 🤔

Let’s ask the question everyone wants to know. The question I asked myself when I started diving in to a Plant Based life was, “does everyone eat like this 100% of the time?!”

I literally fell 100% off the keto wagon/weightloss wagon. I indulged on horribly fatty carb foods gaining at least 4 ibs pack. Crazy how much you can gain that fast! I’m having a really tough time jumping back in and losing motivation and I can’t tell you why. Keto foods are delicious and walking 11000 steps a day isn’t that hard. The yummy sweets at work really didn’t help me whatsoever. I’m really going to push hard on Monday to stay focused. This is the hardest experience I’ve ever dealt with. Ya’ll some days I’m on point. I meal prep, I workout every day, I work on time for myself. And other days... it just doesn’t work that way. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve been super stressed the last week. Definitely fallen off my nutrition partly, but have continuously gotten my workout in 💪🏻

Exercise isn’t EVERYTHING but I definitely helps. Nutrition plays a huge role. I can definitely feel and see the difference when my nutrition and exercise routines aren’t aligned ☠️

It doesn’t matter if you have an off week or day, it matters that you know how to get back on track and not worry about it. It doesn’t mean you have to give up and fall off the wagon. .
When you have the tools and resources, you can do anything 🙌🏻

Good morning IG fam. I've been MIA from this account recently. Needed some time to sit back and think. .

•I joined a new gym and have slowly fallen back in love with lifting. But new gyms makee nervous and scared. So the two workouts I have done, I've been dropping weight to work on form and get use to their equipment.
•This is my first protein shake in two weeks. I have been living off small cokes in the morning for breakfast.
•I have not been counting my macros AT ALL. 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄. So who knows what is going on there.

Yes I did fall off the wagon. I didnt want to talk fitness at all. I have been discouraged lately. I am almost 8 months post partum and I still am not proud of myself, even though I am 2 pounds away from pre baby. 🤷🏼‍♀️. Just being honest. But today I woke up. I have my goals. Mile 1310 of 6000. Today has been rough. The past few days have been rough to be honest. I have been in a lot of pain, mostly my shoulders and ankles. I had also fallen off the wagon on Sunday, eating more than I should have and indulging in some honey and peanut butter 🍯🥜. And while it may not be typical junk food, when you don’t keep track of how much you eat it becomes a huge calorie surplus. Then Monday I didn’t make my breakfast so instead I picked up some food truck breakfast burritos, so no calorie information at all, and today the boss bought us lunch, which was awesome, but I had already consumed my daily amount of calories. But I indulged anyway and had two chocolate chip cookies.
With that I know I am starting to spiral. Need to refocus and get back on track. The hardest part of this is feeling alone in the process. Not having someone by your side cheering you on and supporting the behaviors that are being changed makes this so exhausting. Being your own cheerleader has never been my strong suit.

I’m about to get vulnerable here... I am so disappointed in myself for having been so lazy lately and not taking care of myself and my body. It truly gets to me in such a deep level... I’m an emotional eater and despite having extensive knowledge of what it is I need to do, I’ve failed.
But... My WHY is so important to me, I want to get healthy to be there for my son... really be there for him, full of energy and life. I want to be a good example.
I have not given up though, I just find it more and more difficult to get back up because now I have all this guilt and shame... having gotten so far to only end up worse than when I started.
But every moment can be a new beginning... I can get in shape again, and I can do it better... I know exactly where I messed up, I know What to do.
So, I’m sharing this to create a sense of accountability for myself.
I appreciate the good vibes and those who say I still look good and carry my 199lbs well 😂. I believe beautiful people see beauty in others despite their flaws. I love that about people... I’m thankful I have people like that in my life... and I’m also thankful for those who see beauty but also see POTENTIAL and call me out on my shit. All in all, there’s SUPPORT all around and that’s a beautiful thing. Let’s get back to it... no more excuses.

Yes, that’s a NEW LOW WEIGHT! An “all-or-nothing” mentality is probably the biggest reason why all DIETS fail and most people regain PLUS all the weight they lose while dieting. My biggest AH HA moment came when I discovered the secret to successful weight management is DELAYED GRATIFICATION. Once or twice a week I will have a meal that includes the foods and beverages that are not a part of my everyday plan. I might have a couple of pieces of pizza, or a couple of cocktails, or lobster tempura shooters. I know that my “cheat” meals slow my progress and I accept that fact readily. Psychologically I know that I absolutely NEED these meals to not feel deprived. I know I can either build them in to my lifestyle and continue to be proud of myself or I can try to abstain, blow it, and then hate myself for being weak (with all the binging and backsliding that entails). I do try to plan my social calendar so as not to put more than 2 events in a week that I know will be unavoidably caloric. I do try not to go completely off the rails while indulging (splitting treats with a friend helps!). But the main thing is how I deal with the 2 pound up the following morning. I pull on my big girl yoga pants and get back to the gym.
