Credit to the two Somerset gentlemen. A contingent hiking trip in the National Park, reminding me of the childhood in the great mountains in Yunnan, China. — apparently, there are 10086+ more species of mushrooms in Yunnan. The lovely trip also reminded me of my fav Brit adventurer #naturalist #botanist ,Ernest Henry Wilson#anaturalistinwesternchina, who brought so many exotic, rather gorgeous and immortal plants from Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet to the island. Lord knows how much he had to conquer in the serfdom Tibet - serfdom society, Tibetan language, the altitude language and other dialects, the messed political backgrounds in other parts of China he had to go through and so forth. Eventually he brought the great seeds from Tibet to Britain, with the fact that most people nowadays have no idea about the animal and botanic species around them! #britishplants Although from our perspective it is inevitable to stress the imperial history, the positive emotional connections are unstoppable in front of the gaps of ideology and the modern education 🧡- at least I am super conservative sticking to all the old northern Chinese (Yes my mum is from the hometown Confucius, if you do not study the historic heritage in practice you would never understand) manners and even some of the patriarchalism yet I still do not mind the history or some of the Eastern historical perspectives. Briefly I just love this Ernst Henry Wilson!
Then throw back to the racial diversity over the diversity of plants, exploring how to embrace the diverse nations, cultures and races rationally without breaking the original balances is our eternal mission.#diversity #asian #tibetan #asianheritage #farewellsummer #nomakeup #nomakeupchallenge
