After a lot of reflection and thinking, I will not be competing at USAs this year in Vegas. The reasons include it would not be smart financially at the moment and I still want to improve on a few things. This was not an easy decision because I was set on competing in Vegas with @team_hero_ but it will have to wait! I might be looking at Nationals in Miami in November. Stay tuned!

Got mad at my husband a few weeks ago when he took the photo on the left. I told him he was making me workout to look like a wrestler. Lol I really did not like how my back was looking. The best feeling ever... battling it out on arguably the biggest PCA Classic Bodybuilding stage in the UK ever! The standard was absolutely insane. I wasn’t expecting anything, to even stand up there with those guys at only 19 and natural means so much to me.
People almost laughed at me when I said I was competing in this category. Some suggested mens physique, some suggested jumping on gear, some even said don’t bother. However I wanted to do this because it’s what I love, it’s my passion and I didn’t care where I placed! -
It’s showed me that I do have potential in this sport. I’ve put in the work to build that foundation. I’ve got so many years ahead of me and im not rushing anything. To be the best it takes time, consistency and a ton of graft! I’m not going to say that I’ve got that because talk is cheap. Just watch me work... #classicbodybuilding -

So I’ve been maintaining this leaner physique for around 2 months now and plan to hold it thru out the summer intill transition back into a real bulk which I plan to take just a serious as when I cut down it’s not just gonna be me eating whatever I want there going to be a plan in place so that I can really take advantage of reverse dieting and put on some quality muscle without all the extra unneeded fat. Oh why is this girl posting a lame video of her doing pushups? Seems fair. But, I once had 0 arm strength, "chicken arms" as I would call them. So doing a pull up, pushup and other "easy" tasks have become so rewarding doing them. I crushed chest yesterday and have been loving working out more so than usual lately. Bench Press

Almost skip today since I'm not feeling my best but my mind wouldn't let me skip the workout.
My shoulders are the weakest part of my body. What i really like is it exposes all the weak areas. It's never the same workout all the time and even though it's shoulders, it's not the same area of the shoulders. I'm really enjoying learning more about my body and figuring out how I need to improve. I can only get stronger and better from here.
I was the youngest and smallest guy on stage, not the most conditioned, competing in a non tested class with no weight or age category. I placed first because this is what classic bodybuilding is all about. It’s an art
These days people are always looking for the fastest route to getting there, forgetting what actually matters along the way such as symmetry, proportion and posing. Yes I could jump on a load of gear and get as big as these guys. Doing so would sacrifice what actually allowed me to place first! Be patient, be consistent and you will grow! My time will come...

This is literally the face I am looking at myself in the mirror with right now. Tomorrow is the day! I will take the most important test in my life so far that will play a huge role in determining my future in medicine. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared af.
I have wanted to be a doctor since I was 9 years old and it is surreal to me that I am almost there. But I keep asking myself if I have done enough. Did I prepare enough? Take enough practice exams? Go through my flash cards enough times? I mean, you can always do more, but time is the limiting factor. And my time is officially up
I am just hoping and praying so hard that this test goes well. I have never wanted something more in my entire life. Being a physician embodies all of my soul’s passions and I seriously cannot see myself doing anything else.
Thank you all for your encouraging messages along the way. And thank you for still following me even though I’ve been posting like once a week After this exam, I’ll be able to get back to fitness and hopefully shape up before my birthday.

My dad has always called me "butz" since I was a little kid. I used to be embarrassed when I was younger and he would call me this around his friends. One day I asked, "Dad, why do you always call me butz? He said, because you like looking at girls butts". Well, things haven't changed much lol. Ugly as hell but got my first muscle up today! I have never had a set of rings in a place high enough to try one before so this is my first time ever trying ring muscle ups, though I can connect bar muscle ups consistently already. The rebound after a long prep shows just how important nutrition is! It’s crazy how your body responds to the torture you’ve put yourself through. Pumps and muscle contractions during the last 4 weeks of prep were non existent, it’s hard to explain if you haven’t done it. I hated every minute of training...
Only 3 days later with only slight increase in carbs (plus a full day binge after the show). Im not only a stone heavier but pumps are lasting 30/40 minutes after I leave the gym -

Tonight’s topic: ASKING FOR HELP. I have always been super independent, maybe too independent for my own good. And it’s always been super hard for me to ask for any kind of help- big or small. I finally cracked I’ve always written my own workouts and always refused a spotter... it makes me think “I look like I need help. I look weak” Last night, I had to put my big ole pride to the side and for the rest of my 8 weeks of prep, @harleywiltz is officially my trainer. Whatever amount of reps or weight he says, I do & if he spots me, I have to push those crazy thought out of my head and remind myself that him spotting me is going to get me those extra couple of reps that will make the difference that I need. Killed legs tonight thanks to him and so excited for this workkkk. Almost to the weekend, you guys! Im in a wedding this weekend, so that + prep is going to be extra stressful but I GOT THIS!
