#2ND NIGHT LISTED!!
TO BE DESTROYED 3/21/2018
Hello, my name is THUNDER
My animal id is #22879
I am a male brown dog at the #Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about #5years old.
I came in as a #stray (OWNER DIED) on 14-Mar-2018. #CIRDC
Oh I've seen fire and I've seen rain. But one of the most #welcome sights in my most recent days would have to be 5 year-old Thunder. A cream-caramel cutie with sweet rabbit ears and a smile to signal summer, Thunder is a sight for sore eyes, a pup for all seasons, and THE BEST start to anyone's day. Thunder is #easily leashed and hops right out of his kennel ready to take on our walk. And as we make our way to the park, his tail long and #wagging, he makes sure to look up at me with every other step, his smile a mile wide. But as much as Thunder enjoys a run or a walk, the real path to his heart is the snuggle. Take a seat on a bench, open your arms, ready your lap, and make way for an award-winning cuddler. Thunder comes to us, sadly, after his OWNER PASSED AWAY, and knowing that now I more than understand his need to be so very close. At one point he rests his head on my knee, and presses into my side with such HOPE and forceful LOVE I thought he might nearly leave a mark. Thunder pulls slightly on leash, appears to be housebroken, is incredibly affectionate, and would do best with an experienced family who can give him the STABILITY, exercise, and endless love he needs, one who'll help him heal his heart. Oh I've seen fire and I've seen rain. But my #favorite sight is absolutely Thunder. And favorite memory him pressing so tightly against my side, indeed leaving a mark. One forever on my heart. Thunder is WAITING TO BELONG once again.
