I did a competition last week, and it had been a year since I had said I was done with competetive training. Since that time and especially since the end of the 2018 Open I have been on a new training regimen, and I have felt more improvements than I thought I would. When I saw Bad Medicine literally a week and a half before the competition I felt it would be fun to try. Despite starting a new job that had me working 15 hour days with travel, the timing could not have been more perfect. Most people only see the competiton, not the grind and struggle before, and it is something I have missed. The videos in this post are a taste of the late night rows, early morning sprints, endless pull ups of every kind, muscle ups with blistered hands, pause deadlifts and snatch grip pause push presses, horrible clean and jerk reps and much more are movements that I had been working on months prior, but the videos are at a much higher intensity since starting with @opexfitnes and they all catered to the events at the competiton while not knowing what they were. I have @coachtylerm to thank for the work he put me through to prepare for this with little time to prepare. I did better than I thought I would, surprised a lot of other athletes, and got a taste of competition again
Hopefully photos will be out soon.
