I saw this info graphic and it depicts a lot of what I trained in yesterday with Karen Allott, ND. This is why crash #diets keep us unhealthy (mentally too) and yo-yoing! The "magic" is in supporting the body to reduce #stress (balance bood sugars, sleep more, address gut health, lower inflammation) which has a huge impact on mental health too.
Toxins from poor eating, meds, harmful bacteria, etc. get stored in our fat, keeping it away from our organs. The body is SO smart! But all we want to do is lose the fat without considering the important aspect of why it might be there in the first place.
We can nutritionally support the body's natural processes to detox which allows the body to feel safe enough to drop the extra pounds. This doesn't mean you can go on an eating binge and supplement and still lose weight! ;) It does mean that when the body has been under stress for a while, it's REALLY hard for it to rebalance itself without some reinforcements. That's where dialed in #supplementation comes in! <3
