Eid telefilm "Khana Khud Garam Karo" was an eid special Pakistani television film.Produced and directed by Kashif Saleem and writen by the very talented Faiza Iftikhar.
Telefilm was premiered on 18 June 2018 (Eid-ul-Fitr) by ARY Digital. Content of the witty telefilm was inspired from the "Aurat March" being held almost all over Pakistan during Women's day 2018.
The star cast includes Nadia Khan, Aiman Khan, Saleem Mairaj and Affan Waheed in pivot roles. Well, we didn't exactly see this coming but one poster from Aurat March has become the inspiration for an upcoming telefilm.
Expanding a little on the plot, its a story of a newly-wed couple Manzar and Romana (Affan and Aimen) and their crazy neighbour Jamila(Nadia khan) . Affan is the dominant one in their relationship and with Nadia and Saleem playing her husband, Nadia is the dominant one so she starts brainwashing Aimen and misguiding her. Nadia as Jamila is playing a negative role, basically wreck their home life but this character is most entertaining and full of humour. It comes off funny and not malicious.
The poster from Aurat march is the actual inspiration behind this telefilm but the writer kept the content very light. This telefilm is not dogmatically feministic against what the name suggests. It's real, witty and intelligent and it defies the unreal ideology of feminism. And yet the message is put across in a light-hearted but impactful way.
Please all the women out there kindly stop following western feminism agenda out there, its just misleading you. Its making Muslim women confused and complexed. Islam, our religion is the most modern religion of all. Learn from your religion about your standards, responsibilities, duties and priorities.
There is no shame in "khana garam krna" for your husband or any other male members of your family. There is no shame in cooking for your loved ones. There is no shame in raising children and staying at home. There is no shame in being a housewife and a homemaker. #peaceout
