Something truly crazy happened this year. I sat down in January and wrote a journal entry. Not for that day, but for 12/31/18, almost a year ahead. I wrote it in the present tense, like everything I was recording was fact and had happened over the course of 2018.
A part of me felt like it was insane to think all those things would come true, but another part of me believed in the power of manifestation (law of attraction, goal setting, visualization ... whatever you want to call it).
By about August this year, every part of my journal entry had come to fruition. I had reached my yearly income goals, found a home we love, launched a new website and branding, strengthened friendships and relationships I wanted to focus on, finally cleared up my skin, and felt healthier and fitter than ever before (plus more, but can’t list everything here).
Guys, this manifestation stuff WORKS! I’ve had multiple things happen this year that weren’t just coincidences or simply luck, they were a direct result of me putting my dreams out there and actively pursuing them.
The active part is a vital piece of the equation and I think one that a lot of people overlook. You can’t just set a goal and then sit back and wait for it to happen. I worked hard towards these goals all year, constantly reviewing them, thinking about them, attracting them.
I’m not saying there isn’t any luck involved. Heck, the fact that I was born in a western country into a middle class family is already winning the lottery. But plenty of other people have that same privilege and aren’t using it to pursue their dreams.
Share your experiences with manifestation in the comments section below, I would love to hear them! 👇🏼
