Tofu yakisoba from @wasabi_uk Yakisoba noodles 🥡with fried tofu and veggies.
tried these last year cause i was starving and didn’t have any food at home, they are SO good! 👌🏼
Been craving these for a while, finally got a chance to have them yesterday


Yakisoba noodles are super healthy, they are made of buckwheat flour, they are high in
*protein 💪🏼
*soluble fibre
*low in fat *gluten free *supports cardiovascular health 🏃🏽‍♀️


Wasabi isn’t halal, but they have vegan/vegetarian options which makes it a good option for food, they are mostly known for their sushi🍙 which is super too!
So the texture of fried tofu is very spongy, compared to when you have tofu in soups or salads. I feel tofu is almost tasteless you just have to get used to the texture of it. 🤷🏻‍♀️


So i don’t know much about tofu, except that there are a couple of different kinds, so if you do let us know in the comments below, why does the frying make it so spongy??


£5 for a medium bowl, good portions, doesn’t, its filling but doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. Over all: 4/5


P.s While insoluble fibre improves bowel movements, soluble fibre does that plus it lowers cholesterol, helps you feel full and is really good for people with diabetes (it stabilises blood sugar)

250g flax seeds
1tsp sea salt
270ml water

Pre-heat oven to 220 degrees Celsius. •
Grind the salt & flax together to a very fine flour. Mix all ingredients until they form a loose dough. Shape into a smooth loaf. Rest for 5mins in a loaf tin greased with coconut oil. Bake for 1hr. Turn out of tin into a cooling rack straight from the oven.

Once cool keep in a cloth or cloth bag in the fridge. Will keep for up to a week.

It is second nature for me to ask myself this question when preparing meals.
This is my top tip...at every meal ask: Where is the veg? If you can’t see any then think of ways to add a serve. If you can see 1 how can you increase it?
Easy ways to do this include: 🌽 when boiling pasta throw in some peas or sweetcorn towards the end of cooking or add 🥕🥦 at the beginning once it has been boiling for a few minutes 🍅🍆 stir fry some vegetables to have on top of your dish e.g with a rice or noodle dish 🥗 prepare a simple side salad
🥒 veg sticks with dip or without are a great snack and a way to increase veg between meals
🥫add vegetables to your sauces - fry onion and garlic, add chopped tomatoes and then any other veg you want and simmer until all the veg are tender
🥑 goes perfectly with eggs on toast
🍠 roast them - so good with pasta or as a salad with meat, fish or tofu
Seriously vegetables go with everything so there’s always some way of increasing your intake and it doesn’t need to be time consuming.
So next time you’re preparing a meal ask yourself “Where is the veg?” 🍲

Le calorie sono così tanto importanti?
❌NO, è molto più importante la composizione dell’alimento!
👀600 g di frutta apportano un bel po’ di zuccheri ma anche tante fibre, basso contenuto di proteine e ancor meno di grassi! 60 g di cioccolato apportano una moderata quantità di zuccheri, un bel quantitativo di grassi e un ridotto contenuto di fibre e proteine.
Con ciò non sto dicendo che si dovrebbe mangiare 600g di frutta al giorno e che bisogna eliminare il cioccolato, ma dobbiamo distaccarci dall’ossessione delle kcal degli alimenti e pensare un po’ di più alla loro composizione! 🍎🍫🍏🍩🍐🍦🍌🍪🍉🍰
