Got a chance to finish the finger groove jig today, and it is AWESOME! Drilled some holes so I can bolt the two templates together, and added a stop block, so if can put the grooves in the exact same spot from one handle to the next. Then with some knobs and springs, I think we made it look professional. The springs are there to compensate for different diameter dowels(there's always some slight variations), and the knobs are there to easily clamp and unclamp the dowels from the jig. I just used a flush cut router bit on the router table, and bada bing, bada boom! The flat portion on the top of the handle is so I can engrave my company's website on, and it also doubles as a nice surface for your thumb.
