As we approach another Christmas, I can’t help but look back on the first one after Juniper arrived, when we had our first Christmas as a family of four.
Now as we’re parents we find it so exciting preparing the for the big day; putting the carrot out, taking a bite from the mince pie, and sipping the sherry, anyone else have little rituals like this? Small things that build the magic as they enter the room the following morning. My favourite thing about Christmas when I was growing up, was always the feeling of warmth and, although at times a little stressed (of course I bickered with my siblings and mum fretted over the Yorkshire puds!), we were all lucky to be together. That feeling, I really hope we can recreate for the girls each year. The togetherness. The feeling of love and warmth, not only at Christmas, always. @mothercareuk wants to hear about your best Christmas memories, so why not share your #FirstSteps too? 🎄🎄
