Home workouts are great. I’ve used them when sick or flat out working at home to keep myself ticking over. They are especially handy if you’re staying in a hotel without a gym.
I’ve seen a fair few people lately talking about home workouts and “essential” equipment you need. Now maybe it’s just me, but if you have a few hundred to spend on equipment, couldn’t you just get a gym membership?
Maybe the gym isn’t for you and you want to workout at home instead - absolutely fine. But don’t go buying a tonne of stuff right off the bat - all you need is yourself. You can use stuff around the house for added resistance if needed, but you don’t need a load of gizmos and gadgets.
Squats, press ups, burpees, jumping jacks - all done without equipment. You can use a doorframe to do rows. A chair for step ups and adding extra resistance to your press ups.
