▪️Today I am joining the gorgeous @judytamspilates & her current challenge #beginpilatesagain ✨▪️I had the pleasure of meeting & working out with both Judy & @sianmarshallpilates yesterday at @corecobham , & wow, what an amazing experience 😍💥😍▪️I love this series, because it is everything I teach.. ▪️Without the 'basics' we cannot build to access the incredible #pilates repertoire available to us.. ▪️So, maybe boring to some, this foundation has become my baby!! 😉👌🏻✨▪️ We all have the freedom to learn the Pilates Repertoire in whatever way we choose, that's relatively 'easy', BUT without the foundation of Pilates, ie 1️⃣ Release 2️⃣ Alignment & 3️⃣ Powerhouse & its application to movement, we risk missing so much of the beautiful depth of movement Classical Pilates teaches.. ▪️So!!! Here is my pilates basics progressional challenge using the #foamroller !!! ▪️This can be performed without the roller to really get the feel of connecting powerhouse when beginning ✔️ ▪️ However the roller brings instability, to really challenge your connection in maintaining your form with movement ✔️▪️So here's the lowdown: 🔺'Release' for neutral pelvis, wide collarbone, elongated spine (this can be a challenge in itself & much of my teaching time is spent with this as my focus in order to 'connect' fully..) ✔️ 🔺Thoracic breathing, to maintain framework, & access powerhouse & posterior chain ✔️🔺Powerhouse = drawing up through mid-line from feet ➡️ pelvic floor ➡️ deep abs ➡️ rib cage connection ➡️ posterior chain via shoulder stabilizers ➡️ long tailbone ✔️🔺Opposition on each exhalation to intensify this powerhouse & prep for bigger movements ✔️🔺This is maintained throughout movement ✔️🔺The movements become progressively more challenging to the center, therefore THIS is your guide ✔️ 🔺Move as far as your powerhouse allows with the goal being maintenance of a lengthened spine ✔️🌟▪️Movements are (with or without the roller): 1️⃣ Opposite arm & leg slide 2️⃣ Opposite arm & leg raise & extension 3️⃣ Both arms & legs sliding away simultaneously ▪️Keep long, keep strong, & allow those levers to flow with length! Buongiorno ragazze❤️ oggi vi voglio parlare di come equilibrio la mia colazione. Come già vi ho spiegato è importantissimo non saltare questo pasto, in quanto durante la notte i livelli di zuccheri nel sangue scendono a valori sotto la soglia e quindi è importante ristabilirli in previsione del lavoro che dovrà svolgere il nostro organismo durante la giornata.(Tutto ha un costo energetico).
Per questo delizioso porridge 😍ho scelto dei carboidrati a lento rilascio (avena) e dei carboidrati a rilascio veloce (un cucchiaino di marmellata di mirtilli e una manciata di frutti rossi). Questa combinazione permette di distribuire l'energia contenuta negli zuccheri durante tutta la mattinata.
Ho utilizzato anche una spolverata di cannella(un potente antiossidante naturale),conosciuta per le infinite proprietà:
•stimola la circolazione sanguigna
•combatte il colesterolo cattivo
•stimola il sistema immunitario
•regola i livelli di glicemia nel sangue
•proprietà anti batteriche
•antibiotico naturale
•proprietà antinfiammatorie e antidolorifiche.
Infine ho aggiunto il resto dei Macro nutrienti (io ho scelto il burro di arachidi), essenziali per la regolazione ormonale.
Infine ma non meno importante il mio quadratino di cioccolata fondente all' 85% 😍😋.
Per iniziare al meglio la giornata fai una colazione ricca,di tutti i macro nutrienti, ed equilibrata 🤷🏽‍♀️😉.
