Meal prep Tuesday? Didn’t get in til late last night so had to hit the grocery store today to make some lunches for the week! How to meal prep successfully 101: carbs fats protein food you actually like. The road to health is a loooooooong one...I mean your whole life is long (even though it feels short af) SO I highly recommend eating delicious foods that are also nutritious in order to hit your goals sustainably, whatever they may be! I’m still obsessing over falafel, rice & broccoli as my prep

Worked out my lower body today SWIPE FOR MY WORKOUT - I didn't record it, but I wrote it all out in detail for you guys save it and try it next time you hit the gym && lmk how you liked it tbh I got to the gym and was doing my warmup and realized I probably should have taken a rest day. Soooo instead of lifting super heavy I threw together a lower weight, but higher intensity workout. Was super sweaty the whole time; I actually think I might start adding more workouts like this into my routine.
Now, I'm about to order myself some pizza (no, not just 1 slice or a freakin half a slice....) & probably gonna binge watch movies all night lol. Indulge when you feel necessary. I'm not saying eat what you're craving every time you do because that could turn into you eating that "junk" food daily which wouldn't be so healthy. But if it's been some times since you've had it, then YOU DESRVE IT!!!!! It's all about that healthy BALANCE. If you're in the gym almost everyday and eating healthy all the time then treat yourself. It will NOT keep you from reaching your goals and it absolutely will keep you sane!!!!! always remind yourself that balance and consistency are key!!!!!
Kodiak waffles with strawberries for supper! I've been "intuitively eating" if I'm honest for about 9-10 months and it has resulted in me gaining about 20 lbs. My clothes are not fitting right, so back to basics. More fruit, veggies and water.
Ive been creating some things as i navigate this Mediterranean eating style. Its all been great but i really love these sprouted grain wraps for lunch and quick dinners! Not only am i getting more nutrients from grains that are sprouted but they taste great. Tonight i had planned on pork chops but it was scary outside so i couldnt grill. Instead i made some tuna wraps with a garlic hummus smear, baby spinach and arugula and tomato. Perfect!

While I didn't make it to the #beach to pick up trash, I have a few #plasticalternatives to share with you! I am obsessed with @simplystraws. I use them every day and even carry one in my purse for when I hit up restaurants. #StopSucking @togoware is something I always carry in my purse, #bamboo > than plastic.
I love @marleysmonsters! I use their unpaper towels, facial rounds and washable dish sponges. @recapmasonjars has lids I use on mason jars so I don't buy plastic water bottles. I also use their Spray nozzle lid because I make my own counter cleaner with #essentialoils.

Avoid the processed sugars of candy (and keep a slim waistline) by choosing "nature's candy". Simple fruit snack for after work- Strawberries, Grapes, Mango, and Cantaloupe. Put your favorite fruits in a mason jar and squeeze a little lemon on top. Yum. Do this enough and you won't miss that processed stuff at all anymore. Trust me.
