It’s Monday once again and this girl was NOT ready for it! 😳 I didn’t go grocery shopping, I didn’t meal prep, I didn’t wake up on time, and I didn’t get my workout in. 🤦🏽♀️ BUT...I didn’t let it stop me from making healthy choices today. .
Luckily, I had some healthy items left over from the week that made it easy to grab and go: an apple, 🍏 banana, 🍌 string cheese, 🧀 a bag of romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes, leftover chicken from the weekend, and I had enough time to throw a pot of eggs on the stove to make some hard boiled eggs 🥚 for the week, while I finished getting ready for work. It took me 10 minutes to throw everything together, and I feel so much better that I talked myself into making the healthy choice today. 😉 .
And I am determined to get at least a 20 minute workout in when I get home too! 💪🏼 The beauty of having my in-home gym with a ton of different program options to choose from! There’s no excuse not to spend 20 minutes on myself before the day is over, so that I can go to bed feeling proud of myself and my day. 🤗
The old me would have been negative and in a bad mood the ENTIRE day, since things didn’t go as planned. But when I made the DECISION to stay positive and take charge of the rest of my day, it was all I needed to set the tone for a great day. .
