Favorite way to start the day • This protein shake is so simple but SO GOOD:
* 4 Tbsp hemp protein (I’ve been using Manitoba Harvest hemp w/ fiber)
* 1 cup Orgain unsweetened protein almond milk - 10 grams of protein per cup!
* 1 banana * Blend that shiz up and you’re good to go!
All #vegetarianwhole30 approved and packed with protein, I’ve been drinking this shake along with some scrambled eggs with kale and peppers for breakfast.
I plan to experiment with leafy greens and other fruits in the shake to see what other tasty combos I can come up with. I’ll also probably see how I can use my @sunwarrior proteins in these shakes when I’m done with the Whole30! (Note - technically you’re not supposed to have smoothies/shakes on the Whole30, but because of my lack of meat I’m giving myself this pass. Look up “Whole30 SWYPO if you want to learn more on why they’re discouraged!)
My favorite push ups part 2. Push ups are better for your core than sit ups. I call these hang time push ups. Wait as long as you can before you put that hand on the floor.
