73 kg (160 lb) PR Snatch from @morganwmillican (55 kg) 🎉

This number has been a long time goal of Morgan's, and it was such a pleasure to get to see her hit this. It's because of Morgan that I got to spend the morning watching her train with John the day before his stroke, and afterwards she was there for me through some very tough times. Words can't express how thankful I've been for this lady, and I'm so proud of her and her hard work.

Coucou toi 🙋‍♀! J'avais envie de te partager une de mes nombreuses sources d'inspiration 😍 . Il s'agit de l'athlète @diannalovesweights 🏋‍♀ . C'est une athlète, une artiste et une femme qui se bat au quotidien contre les diktats de la société ainsi que sur les stéréotypes du monde du bodybuilding 👊. Je la considère énormément car elle a une âme magnifique ❤ et parce que je me retrouve bien dans ses combats "féministes" 💪. Elle considère son corps comme une oeuvre d'art et partage donc avec moi cette vision et surtout, fait prendre conscience que nous avons tous la possibilité de modifier notre corps de la manière dont on le souhaite ☝. Elle incarne sa propre version d'elle-même et de la féminité 💄. C'est cela aussi que j'admire et que je soutiens. Je prône haut et fort de devenir la meilleure version de soi. Elle représente donc à mes yeux parfaitement cet adage. Elle a un physique unique, elle le modifie à sa guise et me semble apprécier chaque moment de ces transformations 💞. Cela est la clé de l'épanouissement personnel. Elle fait les choses pour elle. Nous devons tous faire PAREIL ! ☝Travail, discipline et rigueur sont les maîtres mots de son "art" de vivre. Et toi ? Here is something for the ladies as I always get this questions: I want to be skinny but I want to be toned and shape and to have a booty.
**************** When you do want to have a toned shapely physique, you can not be at the same time skinny. ( anyway skinny is over rated, toned curves are IN ( cute booty with small waist 👌) and the latest trend, so if you want to be in Trend but most important to age gracefully and healthy start lifting weights 💪) .
****************** Muscles gives shape to your body and you do need to feed your muscles with the right nutrients and lift weights to transform your physique ( dont worry you won't become Arnold lifting few weights as hormones plays an important role, but that's another subject) . It's a process and sometimes do takes a good amount of time to change a physique. Also you do need to do the best for your genetics as well.
****************** My tips for today: stay active, eat clean, stay positive , don't stress as stressing brings to much cortisol , be persistent and never give up on your goals (Short and long term). Nothing it's easy in life, so transforming and have the dream physique, takes time , effort, dedication , persistence and someone knowledgeable in body shaping and nutrition who has a lot of experience to help you to get there . 🙏❤

O pull up é um movimento que requer força, controle corporal e, acima de tudo, é preciso ter uma grande técnica já que existem vários tipos de pull-ups. ⠀⠀
Existe os strict, kipping e butterfly pull-ups. Para o movimento ser bem feito nos parâmetros do Crossfit, no início de cada repetição os braços têm que estar estendidos, e no final da repetição o queixo tem que ultrapassar totalmente a barra.

- 1 caixinha de leite de coco 🥥 ⠀
- 1 dose de whey sabor maracujá , se não tiver pode usar o sabor baunilha 🥛⠀
- 1 colher de pasta de amendoim sabor chocolate 🥜⠀
- Eritritol a gosto ( usei o adoçante da @wolfs.ind )
- Polpa de maracujá ⠀

Bate no liquidificador o leite de coco com eritritol, whey e o suco de maracujá ( separe as sementes para usar depois)...⠀
Forre o fundo de forminhas de cupcake com a pasta de amendoim e despeje a mistura em cima ... ⠀
Faça uma calda com a polpa de maracujá (com as sementes) e despeje por cima do docinho ...⠀
Leve ao congelador e espere uns minutinhos para adquirir a consistência mais firme ....⠀

🙅🏻‍♀️Don’t compare yourself to someone who has been training for years, if you’re only just getting started. 🙅🏻‍♀️ Muscle growth, fat loss, motor neuron efficiency, cardiovascular fitness, strength and stability ALL take time my friends. ⏰ .
For a relatively “new” person, who tackles “the fitness🏋🏻‍♀️” thing, the speed at which they grow and or enhance their neural efficiency in either lifting or their sport progresses at a quicker rate than a trained person. Further to this, if you didn’t know, a child’s neural plasticity is far greater than that of an adult and will more likely pick up new things easier and progress easier than adults do (tip, get your kids to learn a second language young). So don’t get disheartened if your kid also progresses quicker than you. .
However, to reach the pinnacle of your fitness idols, before you go asking them, how can I look like you or how can I lift as much as you, ask them, “How long have you been doing this for”. The most likely response you will receive will be fat greater than 5 years!!!

We as humans are all different is many ways, and no one persons progress will be the same as another’s. It will have similarities but it will never be the same. .
Next time you go scrolling your feed for inspiration, don’t just look at a picture and get down on yourself for not achieving similar success if you’ve only been at it under 12 months. For one, that photo might be photoshopped. Two, they may be lying about the time taken to get there and three, just say, “Good on you for kicking goals. I will make sure I keep kicking mine so that I too can look back on to a photo in 5 years and go, “fucking mint 👌🏻”

This workout focuses on those muscles in between your shoulder blades (the rhomboids). Try it now by rolling your shoulders back & squeezing those muscles in between the shoulder blades in the middle of your back & see how much more confident you feel holding yourself proud. As these muscles get stronger, you'll start to feel that you're holding yourself with your chest open & your shoulders pulled back instead of slouching & rolling your shoulders forward, it also gives you more height (not that I'm lacking in that!) Now try this session in one of your lunch breaks once a week for a month (so just 4 times) & you will start to notice a difference. •Standing lat pull downs into chest, really squeezing those muscles in between your shoulder blades 10-12 x 3
• Single arm lay pull downs on knees 10 on each arms
• Double arm wide lat pull downs on knees leaning slightly forward to really engage the back instead of using the shoulders to pull down.

I added in a little challenge that I have been trying for a while... the dumbbell press up into single arm press ups & BOY ARE THE HARD! took the challenge by the 🏀s & killlled it first time!
