Al rico fitcocho de quinoa y algarroba!!

Esponjoso y muy nutritivo, y tiene muchas posibilidades... Ya subo luego toppings que le van de lujo😋

Para la base :
🔹3 huevos +2 claras
🔹50 gr de harina de algarroba
🔹50 gr de quinoa cocida con leche
🔹150ml de leche (yo usé de almendras @ecomiloficial) 🔹Stevia
🔹1 cucharada de canela ceylan
🔹Para la superficie : 2 cucharadas de quinoa inflada @elgranerointegral

🌀🌀🌀Batir todo excepto la quínoa inflada que la añadiremos al final, cuando esté en el molde, lo metemos al horno 30 min a 180°.
🌫️️Cuando pasen los 30 minutos dejar que se termine de hacer con el calor residual hasta que se enfríe el horno. Así evitaremos que se quede por dentro menos espeso.

#Vegan #Nutrition SLEEP edition!🌱😴 hey that rhrhymed!😉 Since quitting my night job where I didn’t get to bed until 4AM (or sometimes even 5AM 😳😩) I’ve been working on getting my sleep back on track to a normal schedule. Aside from creating a bedtime routine, nixing caffeine after 3 PM, sleeping with a white noise machine on, and using a calming essential oil diffuser once I get into bed, I’ve also been trying to add in foods that aide in sleep!

Mason jars rule my life! 😂 Who else can relate?!
This week’s breakfast and lunch is prepped! I did all of this in less than an hour 👌🏼 (see IG stories for details).
Breakfast: overnight oats with coconut milk, chia seeds, PB, cinnamon powder, frozen blue berries and chopped green apples. I like my oats warm so I pop it in the microwave with the lid off for 2 mins to warm up in the morning before serving.
Lunch: Mason jar salad with my Mexican Ground Turkey recipe (found in my cookbook p. 83) layered with lime vinaigrette dressing, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, chickpeas, parsley and baby spinach.
Dinners: We’ll be making use of the BBQ and grilling some protein, sautéed broccoli and microwaved sweet potatoes this week!

- Bake Pizza for 10-12 min ..

*Disclaimer*
Q: How can you eat prosciutto if you're a vegetarian?? A: I try to stick with an all plant based diet because I find that I feel and function much better without meat. Along with having Celiac Disease, Lactose Intolerance, and a damaged digestive system, eating and digesting meat puts my system into overdrive. Eating 4-6oz of meat as my main protein source 5-6 times every day really caused a lot of damage to my system, slowed down my digestive process and developed "bad" bacteria in my gut killing all the "good" bacteria. I can explain this further in a different post, but needless to say, a plant based diet has been helping me significantly that giving up meat was the easiest decision. HOWEVER, from time to time, if I do have a craving, I'll have a small morsel of meat (like this prosciutto) and that's ok.

Went into the kitchen to start meal prepping only to realize I forgot to thaw out my ground turkey. 🤦🏻‍♂️ However I was able to at least Cook two meals worth of BBQ glazed Grilled Chicken to hold me over until tomorrow.

Hi guys🙋🏻‍♂️ its @innocent_gymer WHICH HAS MORE SUGAR: A green tea frappuchino or a can of Coca Cola? Y'all... the green tea frappuchino has 26 MORE GRAMS OF SUGAR than a can of coke!!! How many of you would think twice about having a can of coke for breakfast? I'm guessing a fair bit of you. What about how many of you think that a green tea frappuchino can't be *THAT* bad for you... especially since it has green tea in it, which is a powerful antioxidant, right?? Me! Don't let 'buzzwords' or 'superfoods' trick you into thinking that something is healthy. Not even to mention that all of those drinks (besides black coffee) have more added sugars than two Reeses peanut butter cups! WHUT. 
If you're like me, you tend not to think too much about what is in drinks. Liquid calories/things don't count, right??! But after just taking a quick look at the Starbucks nutrition info, I was FLABBERGASTED. It's INSANE how much sugar is in all of those drinks, especially when you remember that the World Health Organization recommends limiting added sugar intake to only 25G. 
Now for some, the thought of drinking just straight black coffee is enough to make you projectile vomit from disgust. Don't worry, I used to be the same way! Start out with as little milk + added sugar/honey as you can manage. Then every week, try to reduce it by a teaspoon. Eventually, you'll get used to the taste and start to appreciate the coffee for the bean, not the added sugars!

You want to try and find the minimum effective dose. So how much food can I eat and still lose weight instead of how often can I say no to food and just eat salad leaves

It’s tempting to go hard because you want to see a difference quickly but that only tends to be a short term win as you might lose on the scales but it hasn’t been Long enough for your body to actually look any different

When it comes to dieting & creating a deficit more isn’t always better and this one simple change in mindset is the first step to you finding something more sustainable and effective
